The Missouri Memorial

The Missouri Monument at Vicksburg National Military Park.

The Missouri state memorial is the only one on the battlefield dedicated to soldiers of both armies. There were forty-two Missouri units: 15 Confederate and 27 Union. This monument stands where two opposing Missouri regiments clashed in battle.
This is one of the most beautiful monuments on the battlefield, with so many details it is hard to showcase them all.
